Whitney was born without her right arm above the elbow and her right leg above the knee due to Amniotic Band Syndrome. Prosthetics have impacted her life greatly as she has worn a prosthetic leg since she was a year old. In elementary school, Whitney decided to pursue orthotics and prosthetics as a career and geared all of her high school classes toward the program at St. Petersburg College in Florida. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in the spring of 2012 and started her residency with Bulow OPS in Denver in 2013. Whitney is an incredible example of a person with limb loss living a full and independent life!
