Zion Redington was born in China with one finger on each hand and one toe on each foot. At the age of six, Zion had both feet amputated due to the extent of his congenital birth defects. Being a bilateral, below-the-knee amputee has not stopped this kid. Since becoming an amputee, Zion has competed in twelve 5Ks, one 10K, and won eight gold medals and two silver medals in the 2015 Endeavor Games while competing in cycling, wheelchair basketball, track and field events and swimming. Zion is very active in ABLE Youth, Challenged Athletes Foundation sports and The Endeavor Games. Zion loves to speak at local schools about anti-bullying and shares his different prosthetic legs, made by Matt Bulow. Zion's motto for life is, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
